The end of October

I can't believe how fast October went. We're definitely on the down hill run to Christmas. Today is a day of relief and 'endings'. I've come to the end of the October NaBloPoMo challenge. It did help me with gaining some momentum and focus with my blog and I'm glad I made it to the end. I am also looking forward to taking a slightly more relaxed approach where I can spend a bit more time exploring key issues when there is the time without feeling under pressure to get something out there. (My husband is also happy that he'll get a bit more attention.)

I've also come to the end of my first semester for my Masters. I've really enjoyed the content, and feel good about the direction it is taking me. I've managed to cope with the load of two subjects while working full time with only a few stressful moments, so that's good news.

My year 12s have also finished (at the end of last week) and their exam is at the end of next week, so my role has come to an end for most of the students. There's not much more I can do for them from this point on, it's over to them.

All in all, it's been quite a busy month or so. Thanks for sharing in some of life with me. Bring on November.

  1. Glad to hear it. I completely crashed and burned for October's NaBloPoMo, but I've already signed up for November's. I think this month will go more smoothly for me. I also had a stroke of insanity, and signed up for NaNoWriMo, so please keep your fingers crossed for me.
