Take Action #6- 5 things you can do without leaving the comfort of your computer chair

1. Send a letter to the Australian Government opposition asking them to get serious on climate change. You don't even have to write the letter yourself if you you don't have the time or inclination - Oxfam Australia

2.Play games If you're into time wasting games like those on facebook Try FreeRice (partnered with the UN World Food Programme). Choose a topic that you're interested in Maths, Geography, English etc and earn grains of rice for each correct answer. The more correct answers the more rice is donated.

3. Sign a petition. Amnesty International has a range of ways that you can support campaigns to protect human rights around the world, signing a petition is just one way you can help.

4. Fill out a survey. World Vision is looking for people to join WorldVoice and complete monthly surveys on issues relating to poverty and injustice. The survey results are used to collect data that World Vision can use in their advocacy work.

5. Make an online donation to your favourite charity or investigate micro loans through an organisation like Kiva.
