A lesson from Halls Creek.

We were welcomed with open arms by the indigenous community in Halls Creek. One of the most beautiful aboriginal ladies that we got to know started referring to us as brothers and sisters from the moment we met her. She was fond of saying "it doesn't matter if you are black or white, we are all one in Christ". And that is exactly how it felt. There was no division, tension, judgement or hierarchy. We were drawn together because of our mutual love of God and because of that, could not help but love each other.

God is the God of reconciliation.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28
